PolyMAC 2008 Agenda

PolyMAC 2008 is scheduled for June 17-19. The meeting is scheduled to end by lunch on Thursday, June 19.

Food & Activities

Unfortunately, due to DOE regulations, we have to charge for meals or provide enough time in the schedule for people to wander off on their own. Based on the schedule of prior PolyMAC conferences and the fact that we are not close to restaurants, we will be having pizza one day and sandwiches another. The charge for these will be approximately $10 each, including chips and a drink. This money will be collected at registration/check-in. Alternately, a cafe with a small lunch selection is located adjacent to our meeting room. Please indicate on your registration forms if you will be participating in these lunches so we can plan accordingly.

Tuesday night we are planning to have the group dinner and bocce at Campo di Bocce in the southwest corner of Livermore. We will have 1.5 hours of bocce followed by dinner, which includes a salad and a choice of two entrees (TBD). The cost for bocce and dinner will be approximately $45. The actual amount will depend on the number of people that sign-up. Rules for bocce can be found here.
